Quién es Geronimo

Tomás Novoa Mendizabal (1995) embraces the roles of both musician and producer on this project obsessed with capturing what feels undeniable to him, serving as premonitory statements about nostalgia and self-exploration. All of this, inspired by the many experiences of a life abroad.

Crafted mostly in the intimacy of home recordings, his music carries a deeply personal identity and blends folk, psychedelic, and progressive influences creating a cinematic and submersible experience.

His musical path has woven through the scenes of Rotterdam, Berlin, Mexico City, and Santiago de Chile, where he is now shaping his latest album, Liminal Feeling.

The new record, captured across multiple studios—including his own home space, Epic Rainbow Unicorn Studios in Rotterdam, and the iconic Sonic Ranch in Texas—brings together old and newer compositions.

Quién es Gerónimo made its long play debut through Austin-based record label Western Vinyl with ‘Mi Casa’ (2024), a self-recorded and deeply personal statement about distance, belonging and inner-exploration.

About Mi Casa, Brian Sampson (WV) writes:
Tomás - aka Quién es Geronimo - delivers a remarkably fresh take on confessional songwriting, ambient pop, and stunningly vibrant alt folk on his his debut album Mi Casa. Tomás explains, “I conceived this track as a journey that starts intimate, grows cathartic, and then ends abruptly. It feels like a metaphor for something, maybe life itself?”.

Two more works have been edited through the same label, Songs To Heal (2023), a two-side single, and Cuarentena (single, 2025).

With Liminal Feeling, Tomás seeks to evoke fragments of his childhood and adolescence, and also to translate his later experiences away from home. The objective is to reflect upon nostalgia, identity, and an endless sense of transition.
